Governor Jerry Brown and California Federal Teachers Union

We’re not very good at managing money in California, are we? On the other hand, Jerry Brown is very good at sucking up to unions. I am especially resentful because teachers’ unions continue to get priority funding in California, for no reason at all.

And in the cartoon, of course I was referencing a mafia Don, or organized crime boss, and how one needs to kiss his ring to stay safe. 😉

One union, California Teachers Association, actually named the Governor Education Governor of the year. Whatever.

I didn’t know Jerry Brown actually founded 2 charter schools himself. But he balked on taking data from the schools and tracking children all through the grades.
