Easter bunny in bar cartoon. And Marty Murphy.

easter rabbit orders egg drink in barMarty Murphy, Playboy cartoonist extraordinaire,  was my cartoon mentor. He was also a connoisseur of fine drinks, and any kind of bar.

No wonder, then that I asked him what a bartender is called, and he told me the waiter/server in a bar is called a barkeep. I never heard that before! Reminder that I must do more bar hopping…

And I know I’ve seen eggs in bars, although I think they are usually raw, not hard-boiled. (I could be wrong.)

I have another Easter cartoon up in Psychology Today, but this one is more for lonely women.

Does this drawing remind you of the wonderful Jimmy Stewart movie, Harvey? It should! And if it inspires you to see it, the most famous rabbit in a bar, I’ve done my good deed for the day! You won’t regret it!

From my weekly cartoon feature, Daily Special. Here’s how to get new restaurant cartoons delivered to you each week! And how to buy restaurant and food cartoons for restaurant newsletters, websites, hospitality magazines, and restaurant trade journals.

ID #2102707        Cartoon Caption:“Easter egg, straight up, please.” Easter bunny sits in bar after a full day’s work, and orders what he’s been delivering to others (eggs). Or something.
