Will a legal notice scare crows out of the cornfield?

sign in cornfield to warn cartoon crows instead of scarecrow
No scarecrow? One more unemployed farm worker.

And here’s another bird cartoon!

I think you’ll find I do more bird cartoons than most cartoonists around. Even if the joke isn’t about them specifically, I draw them in as add-ons. 🙂

This cartoon isn’t an insult to lawyers, is it? No. A scarecrow is more friendly (homey) than a No Trespassing sign, don’t you agree?

But it does mean someone is out of a job…And let’s not lay anyone off, not today!

I probably thought of this because when a friend was in law school she was excited to find out that when you see signs in stores or in parking lots that say “We are not responsible for any damage, missing items, etc,” that doesn’t mean they’re not responsible. Of course they are!

Here’s how to buy this or any law cartoon for powerpoint, law journals, newsletters, books, etc.

ID #n2880v        Caption: Sign: NO TRESPASSING All crows will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. The scarecrow had more personality. (2 crows discuss the sign in the cornfield, and the absence of the missing scarecrow. Of course, this means the sign doesn’t really work, as the crows are still there…)
