Note to Self.
We had a good meeting of the PROS committee last night, and I learned some things about weed seeds, we won a case with the District Attorney!, the City department who approves permits could be a teeny-tiny bit corrupt, and someone said he supported me in an incident a few months ago, WHEN MY COUNCILMAN SCREAMED AT ME. All of these, coming up shortly when I’m done my deadline. Oh, and a big Yay, CNN linked to me this weekend to my post on the Siberian tiger attack in San Fran!! Guess that makes me a Blogger now. I updated the About Me page/tab to add that my cartoons are national (Parade Magazine, in newspapers every Sunday) (I’m in most weeks, but not all, see why in the tab). Also, Pasadena Weekly editor says something nice about me here!

I got called a community journalist! Joy!
David Markland, who was not a happy camper in my comments here, turns out to be a writer for Blogging LA. (That’s the trouble with blogs; they keep you on your toes!) He recently wrote on Blogging LA that: After Donna Barstow received a whooping for saying that the LAFD sucks, she didn’t apologize. Instead, she dug in her heels, picked up the phone, and became a community journalist. Hmm, a whooping….is that what they’re calling it now? But anyway, I think he’s saying something nice about me! He also mentions two other bloggers who are writing about After the Fire: Thunderbolt Fan, writing on LA Voice, and Lonewacko. Great…
