About this Charles Manson story cartoon
I love this cartoon! I don’t do multi-panel comic strips like this usually, but I wanted to tell this amusing story. It’s a miniature graphic novel! I talk more about this cartoon, and Charles Manson, and how he affects where I live, in my Opinion Cartoons blog. I also compare my cartoon to Ted Rall’s which is over there, and I won.
At first I just thought it was funny that Charles Manson, of all people has 2 cell phones! He is just that popular! (With the ladies, or the men, too?) And since I’m sure he is under 24/7 guard, how could cell phones, which were kind of big back then, end up in his cell undiscovered?
Then I come to find out (investigated) that over 10,000 cell phones a year are snuck into our prisons…by the guards!! It’s like their secret bonus: they get to fleece the inmates by selling them these contraband devices!
Not any longer: cell phones NO!
Even murderous cult leader Charles Manson, who died in November, obtained phones and used them to communicate with followers outside prison.
Yes, Charles Manson is DEAD. I know why I missed that News: I was fighting my EVICTION by Steven Taylor of Taylor Equities, and LA Property Group Management, my home and studio for 19 years. 🙁 These men all belong in this paragraph together.

ID #110207q Caption: Corcoran Prison caught Charles Manson with 2 cell phones! State investigations conclude that prison guards bring in over 10,000 cell phones a year! State officials claim unions would charge more if guards are scanned. So they aren’t. Bottom Line: California is more afraid of prison unions than Charles Manson! We’re going to call you Chuck!
(I should reletter that last dialogue – it’s hard to read – but it’s calling Charles “Chuck”!)
