Secret of a New Yorker cartoon, all wrapped up in a disgusting TV host.

chef won't accept customer's food order

Why I hate Gordon Ramsay

Sometimes the chef has the power. Sometimes he’s like that disgusting twit Gordon Ramsay, whose new show is called The F Word. His first show was called Hell’s Kitchen. He has a potty mouth, and he screams at people, similar to the repugnant Ricky Gervais.

Why I hate dickweed Ricky Gervais

Huge personal grudge: Ricky Gervais recently had Twitter freeze my Twitter business account when I complained about his use of the “C” word. I haven’t been able to use it for over a year. Please also hate him, for my sake.

In any case, I would never let Gordon Ramsay cook in my cartoons. 🙂

Why this is a New Yorker-type cartoon

The rejection part is so on for The New Yorker. They love put downs. Also, hostility, rudeness, and eating out.

Of course, rejection is also par for the course for freelance cartoonists and writers…

This is from my weekly cartoon feature, Daily Special. This has the rhythm and sensibility of a New Yorker cartoon. (Secret of a New Yorker cartoon: make someone feel bad (insult them) in a polite way.)

Here’s how to get new restaurant cartoons delivered to you each week! And how to buy restaurant and food cartoons for restaurant newsletters, websites, hospitality magazines, and restaurant trade journals.
