If it is manmade, whether because of laws of not demanding under brush be burned out every year, or a maniac arsonist who is fullfilling an urge for power...actually in New York we call them TERRORISTS... how does man get away with it??....In all terror situations you have a plan no matter the scale, to some extent the scale is should be predicted. Sure you have Santa Anna Winds....but fires have been a part of SoCal history since recorded history and beyond.....there needs to be some accountability for not creating life saving solutions that work for both man and animal. We see the difficulties in this, and from a distance have immense graditude to all of the women and men, the firefighters, who risked their lives for others. They are doing all they can, they are not the responsible ones to prevent, evacuate and exterminate such terrible destruction as it is occcuring. They are the Heros. It is long overdue that we look for solutions for life and peace, and not death and destruction. We are an intelligent, educated and sophistcated society who SHOULD know that WAR doesn't solve anything, but the solutions for PROTECTING ALL in this country at any cost, as example for the world to immulate, would be a great beginning!
