Love Me or Go to Hell, Damn it

Why I wrote this book.
The first question I ask a married woman is, "Where did you meet your husband?" The dating world is fascinating! I've been trying to do a love/dating book for years, but cartoon books are notoriously hard to get published. That's why I feel so fortunate to have this be my second book! Andrews McMeel almost always publishes books ONLY by syndicated cartoonists - which I am not - so I really jumped at this amazing opportunity.

I give credit to Stephanie, one of my contributors, for the great title. That and the striking cover, which the AM designer really helped me with -are probably why it sold out the first week! I added the secondary part of the title: True Love Cartoons, because I didn't want readers to think that this was a putdown of adorable men, or of love.

This book is a great look at love and dating from five women cartoonists who have seen a lot of it. (Since I am the only single one, of course more of my cartoons are in there!) As I edited it, I put the cartoons in categories like romantic, cute meet, sexy, cuddly, exciting, and so forth.

Description.
There are over 216 cartoons in here, which makes it a real deal for cartoon lovers or other lovers. Lots to go over and point out to friends. I've taken it to parties and people will not put it down or pass it on til they've gone through the whole thing! A nice variety of drawing styles and Attitude.
