Why do Democrats grab all the good beaches?

California electoral map cartoon – I’m the barber of the California coastline!

Conservatives (Republicans) get this cartoon map right away, but it takes a little longer for Democrats to understand… 🙂

I was surprised to learn from electoral maps that so many Liberals live in the ocean towns of California, and it’s red or Republican on the inside of the state, all the way, baby.  I thought others might be interested in this strange fact, as well. How did this dramatic difference happen? And why does the left get to live at the beach? That’s for another cartoon.

Explanation of electoral map

It’s like a haircut. When the customer says take a little off the side? Take a little off the LEFT side…or let them slide into the ocean.
